- Election as Orleans County District Attorney
- General counsel to an Industrial Development Corporation
- Adjunct Prof. of Sociology at SUNY Buffalo
- Counsel to the Orleans Coalition against Domestic Violence
- Numerous positions and honors with local civic groups
